What if being a mom could be ten times easier than it’s ever been? That’s what Lila hopes for, secretly, because even before birth, before pregnancy, before committing, she is exhausted. Scared for the future of the world. Slowly burning out. Unsure if she can trust her best friends or chosen family. And if it isn’t ten times easier, it’s not even remotely OK.
I didn’t realize I wanted to be a father until I began writing this show–and now I feel a love greater than any I’ve ever felt before. But I want to do it right. And that means teamwork, not just two people.
I believe in the indominable human spirit, and in the idea behind America: what the common person can achieve with dignity. That anything is possible.
